Coastal Anesthesia, P.C., et al., a medical wrongful death case in which a $20 million verdict was obtained for the family of a woman who died after her anesthesia care team failed to follow the accepted standards of care in administering her anesthesia; Krantz v. A.O. Smith, et al., a wrongful death/product liability case in which a $50 million verdict was obtained for the family of a man who was killed after a defective water heater in his garage exploded; Miller v. Bradford Health Services, a wrongful death/automobile accident in which a $3 million verdict was obtained for the family of a student who was killed when her vehicle struck an eighteen wheel truck after she was run off the road by a Bradford Health Services driver who fell asleep at the wheel and veered into her lane after driving 20+ hours straight through the night to deliver a patient to Bradford’s facility; and Tyler v. Mobile Infirmary Association, a medical wrongful death case in which a $5.5 million verdict was obtained for the estate of a woman who died of acute mesenteric ischemia due to the failure of the hospital to accurately monitor and report the patient's condition to treating doctors.  The following language is required by Alabama Rules of Professional Conduct: "These recoveries and testimonials are not an indication of future results. Educational Background:

  • Mr. Cain completed his undergraduate degree at Auburn University where he received numerous honors. In 2003, he received his Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from the University of Alabama School of Law. During law school, he was a Hugo Black Scholar and selected into the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers. He also served as a Senior Editor for the Alabama Law Review, participated in various legal advocacy competitions, and was a finalist in the John A.
