As the founder of his firms located in San Francisco and Fresno, California, Sam Salhab covers a wide range of criminal defense matters, including white collar defense, federal criminal defense, misdemeanor criminal defense, felony cases and cases covered by California's habitual offender law. He also handles Personal Injury cases and Family Law matters including divorce, spousal support, child custody and support and property. Mr. Salhab represents clients from Fresno and San Francisco as well as surrounding areas.
In 2000, Mr. Salhab earned his Bachelor of Arts in management information systems from the University of South Florida, where he was a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. In 2004, he earned his Juris Doctor from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he served as president of the Entertainment Law Society and secretary of the National Lawyers Guild and received the Charles T. Bumer Civil Libertarian Award. While interning during law school at the San Diego County Public Defender's Office, Mr. Salhab gained valuable experience in criminal defense that reinforced his dedication to serving the needs of the indigent and under-represented.
Admitted to practice in California, Mr. Salhab is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. During his tenure from 2008 to 2010 with the Law Offices of the Public Defender of Fresno County, he provided representation for indigent clients. Prior to opening his firm, Mr. Salhab also served as appointed conflict counsel for a Fresno law firm. Fluent in both English and Arabic, he does pro bono work by running a legal clinic for his local mosque. The clinic provides legal assistance to lower-income individuals who may not speak English as a first language.
Mr. Salhab was also selected by the National Trial Lawyer's Top 40 Under 40 for 2014.
