Jay-Allen Eisen is the principal at the Sacramento, California, firm of Jay-Allen Eisen Law Corporation. Mr. Eisen's practice consists primarily of civil appellate law, writ law and motion law, and he serves clients in Sacramento and the surrounding communities. He also takes on lawsuits that challenge regulations and hearing decisions issued by public agencies at all levels of the government.
Mr. Eisen is a 1968 graduate of Hastings College of Law at the University of California. He is a certified Appellate Law Specialist, one of the first to receive certification from the State Bar of California's Board of Legal Specialization. He has been counsel in more than 400 appellate and writ cases; more than 100 are published, precedent decisions. Admitted to practice in California in 1969, Mr. Eisen is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Eastern Districts of California.
