Mr. Parker earned a Bachelor of Arts in Latin and ancient Greek from the University of Georgia in 1999. He went on to earn his law degree from the prestigious Harvard Law School, where he was the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy's deputy editor-in-chief. In 2003, the South Carolina Bar and the State Bar of Georgia granted him admission. In 2005, the Alabama State Bar Association followed suit, as did The State Bar of California in 2008.
Since beginning his career in California, Mr. Parker has built a reputation as a leading young attorney in the state and as a dedicated member of the legal community. He regularly does pro bono work for a number of organizations, including volunteering as a mediator for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program and as appointed counsel for prisoners in civil rights matters.
