Rosy H. Cho represents individuals and families in immigration matters with a focus on family-based visa petitions and removal defense.  Ms. Cho has represented both straight and same-sex couples before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) and in Immigration Court.  Ms. Cho has many years of experience helping her clients with adjustment of status, naturalization and citizenship, abandonment of residency issues, immigration consequences of criminal convictions, and appeals before the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ms. Cho has dedicated a substantial amount of her time to pro bono service—from representing workers caught up in work site raids conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to mentoring other attorneys representing asylum seekers. In recognition of her services to the immigrant community, Ms. Cho was awarded the 2010 Phillip Burton Immigration and Civil Rights Award for Advocacy by the Immigrant Legal Resource Center. Since 2008, Ms. Cho has been selected each year for inclusion in Super Lawyers.

Ms. Cho is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley Law School (Boalt Hall) and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Amherst College.  Ms. Cho is licensed to practice law in the State of California.
