He is admitted to practice in the state courts of California, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central and Southern districts of California, and the U.S. bankruptcy courts for the Northern, Central and Southern districts of California.

Active in a wide range of professional organizations and activities, Mr. Ehrlich is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association, the State Bar of California and the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists, which he has co-headed with fellow Lonich & Patton LLP co-founder, David Patton. Mr. Ehrlich is also passionate about volunteering, serving as an arbitrator for the Santa Clara County Bar Association's attorney-client fee disputes division and a temporary judge for the Superior Court of California, Santa Clara County's family and traffic court.

In previous years, Mr. Ehrlich served as a temporary judge for the Superior Court of California, Santa Clara County's civil division as well as the chair for the City of San Jose Traffic Appeals Commission. He continues to take on pro bono cases whenever possible and volunteers with the Pro Bono Association's Lawyers in the Library program.
