Elizabeth A. Banham has practiced law in California for more than 20 years. She is partner with Janice F. Mulligan at The Law Offices of Mulligan & Banham in San Diego -- a practice devoted to plaintiff's personal injury, medical malpractice, birth injuries, elder abuse, and fraud in the context of health care.
Ms. Banham was admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and California in 1987 and Massachusetts in 1989. Ms. Banham now practices solely in California. Since 1995, Ms. Banham has served as a Municipal Court Judge Pro Tempore for Small Claims Court. She was formerly manager and prosecutor of environmental code violations with San Diego County's Department of Environmental Health and also taught classes on employment law to other attorneys and to private employer/employee groups.
Now specializing in medical malpractice and elder abuse claims, Ms. Banham has authored a number of articles on these topics. She also is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association, Lawyers Club of San Diego, and the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego.
Ms. Banham worked as legal secretary and paralegal through law school at the University of San Diego School of Law. Additionally, she is an experienced filmmaker, videographer and filmmaking instructor. She enjoys the creative and personal side of her law practice, strongly advocating for clients who have been severely injured or who have business tort claims.
