Up until September 11, 2001, attorney Mariam Zadeh was an active litigator in New York City where she handled a variety of litigated disputes in California, New York and New Jersey, practicing for both the plaintiff and defendant. It was at this time dramatic life changes prompted her move to Los Angeles, California, where she obtained her masters of law degree in alternative dispute resolution from Pepperdine University's Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Ms. Zadeh focuses on mediating employment, class action, life, health and disability, catastrophic personal injury and commercial matters.
Ms. Zadeh's dedication, persistence and personal concern for the parties involved in her cases have earned her substantial recognition. She has published articles and various publications on mediation. She has also given workshops and presentations on the subjects of mediation in employment law, health and disability scenarios, and negotiating skills. She is partner in the Encino, California, firm of First Mediation Corporation.
