James R. Parke has practiced family law for nearly four decades. He is a partner at Holstrom, Block & Parke, APLC, and serves as a senior trial attorney at the firm. He provides clients with important insights about their rights when addressing legal matters of marriage, divorce, separation, child custody, and child or spousal support. He makes himself available to clients at multiple office locations that serve the areas of Corona, Irvine, Riverside, Newport Beach, Temecula Valley, and Brea, California. He supports his clients with advice and litigation services when they need to navigate emotional and financial issues important to their families and personal well-being.
Throughout his career, Mr. Parke has worked beyond the law office as an educator and lecturer. Students at the Trinity Law School learned about his real-world experiences during his time as an adjunct professor of family law. Other venues in California have also welcomed him as a speaker, and he often presents workshops at the Public Law Center in Orange County on subjects of family law and life after divorce.
Mr. Parke's peers have recognized him multiple times for his ethics and skill, as evidenced by his "Superb" rating through Avvo as well as his AV Preeminent* rating through Martindale-Hubbell. He also maintains membership in the State Bar of California, the Orange County Bar Association, the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and the Orange County Jewish Bar Association.
Mr. Parke has developed a strong understanding of the California laws that guide divorce and child custody. He has been practicing law in the state since 1978 after graduating from Pepperdine University School of Law. He also holds an undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton.
