Karina N. Lallande of Lallande Law, PLC, in Long Beach, California, practices civil rights law, employment law, medical malpractice, personal injury and product liability. Ms. Lallande serves clients throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties.
After earning bachelor’s degrees in global studies and sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, Ms. Lallande graduated from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. During law school, she was the supervising editor of the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review and also belonged to the school’s environmental law society.
Ms. Lallande also gained practical legal experience through an externship with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and by clerking at a private Northern California based personal injury firm. She has been admitted to practice law in the state of California since 2010 and is also licensed to appear before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
In addition to her law practice, Ms. Lallande is involved in her local community and various professional organizations. She serves as co-chair of different committees within the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities and also sits on the organization’s board of directors and honorary board of governors.
Ms. Lallande is also a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California, The State Bar of California and the American Association for Justice. She has received recognition, including being named one of the “Top 40 Under 40” trial lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers. In 2011, she was also nominated for woman trial lawyer of the year by the Consumer Attorneys of California.
