An attorney with Los Angeles law firm Solomon Saltsman & Jamieson, Ralph B. Saltsman focuses on a wide variety of administrative and appellate law on both state and federal levels. His experience includes land use and zoning, administrative and governmental relations, constitutional law, business litigation, personal injury, products liability and malpractice. He has extensive experience handling matters pertaining to Indian gaming, sovereignty and the California Alcoholic Beverage Control Act. Mr. Saltsman accepts clients throughout California.
After graduating with honors from the University of Southern California in 1970, majoring in English literature, Mr. Saltsman earned his law degree from Loyola Law School in 1973. While in law school, he served as a judge in the moot court competition. He is admitted to practice law in California; before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of California; the U.S. Supreme Court; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. He is also a member of the Intertribal Court of Southern California.
Mr. Saltsman's impressive track record has earned him numerous awards and recognitions, including the highest rating of AV Preeminent* with Martindale-Hubbell, with his peers recognizing him for outstanding legal and ethical practices. He is also known for his work with various media, including the popular show Legal Help Live. He is also the co-creator, co-host and producer of the Emmy Award-winning Cheap Eats and co-hosted It’s Your Call on the issue of homelessness in Southern California. Mr. Saltsman has also written articles for various publications, including the Daily Journal, the Los Angeles Business Journal and Indian Country Today, and is a frequent speaker at legal conferences and seminars.
Mr. Saltsman is a member of various bars and associations, including the American Bar Association, the State Bar of California and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
