Before earning a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, Ms. Karavatos attended the University of California, Santa Cruz. From there, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1984. Ms. Karavatos graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in liberal arts from Saddleback Community College.
