Vincent LaBarbera is the founder and principal of The Law Offices of Vincent J. LaBarbera Jr., A Professional Corporation, with offices located in Newport Beach, Santa Ana and Santa Monica, California. Focusing his practice primarily on criminal defense and professional licensing, he represents clients throughout the state who have been charged with state or federal offenses, including white collar crime, fraud, murder, assault, domestic violence, DUI and drug possession and distribution. He also represents medical, real estate and other professionals in licensing hearings and proceedings before a variety of state agencies. He has litigated over 4,500 cases, and has also handled civil litigation matters for both plaintiffs and defendants.
After receiving a bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Saint Mary's College of California, Mr. LaBarbera went on to attend Southwestern Law School and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1980. While in law school, he served a legal externship for a judge on the California 2nd District Court of Appeal. Admitted to practice in California, Mr. LaBarbera is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Northern and Southern Districts of California, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Mr. LaBarbera has been involved in numerous other professional organizations throughout his career, including the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Orange County Bar Association and California Attorneys for Criminal Justice.
