As an attorney for Colorado law firm Springer and Steinberg, P.C., Jason C. Astle handles a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters, including personal injury, civil appeals, business and employment law. He has particular experience in the areas of class action litigation, real estate, and appellate advocacy. As a thorough and aggressive trial lawyer, Mr. Astle has represented individuals, corporations, associations, employers, and insurance companies. He also has extensive experience litigating appeals. Mr. Astle accepts clients in Denver and throughout Colorado.
As a law clerk in the Colorado Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Mr. Astle's reputation has grown allowing him to represent such entities as Freddie Mac and major student loan servicing companies. He is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association and the Denver Bar Association.
He recieved his Bachelor of Arts from Colorado College in 1994, where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Astle earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006, graduating in the top 2 percent, Order of St. Ives. He is admitted to practice law in Colorado and New York; the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York; and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
In addition to his legal career, Mr. Astle enjoys humanitarian work and spent over two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cameroon, Africa. Today, he serves on the board of directors for both the Jefferson Foundation and Opportunity Africa.
