Jennifer has an AV Preeminent® Rating with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating by her peers for her legal ability and professional ethics, and is listed as a Top Rated Lawyer in Business Litigation and Labor & Employment by ALM (Corporate Counsel & The American Lawyer).

Jennifer's practice involves representing employers in federal and state courts across the United States and in administrative proceedings, including those before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Civil Rights Division, and the Department of Labor.  She is licensed in Colorado and Florida, and has conducted numerous jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations involving employment law matters, such as wage disputes, discrimination claims, and whistleblower claims.  She also has tried numerous commercial litigation matters, including shareholder disputes, breach of contract matters, noncompetition cases, and civil theft claims.

Prior to starting her own firm, Jennifer was a Shareholder with Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak & Stewart, P.C. – one of the nation’s largest labor and employment firms.  She also previously led the Employment Group at Moye White LLP, and worked for both the U.S. Attorney’s office and the Adams County District Attorney’s Office while pursing her JD/MBA.  Jennifer's goal with her practice is to provide effective and high quality legal representation to small- and medium-sized business clients at a reasonable cost.

When she’s not championing her clients’ rights in court, Jennifer strengthens her knowledge in the field of labor and employment law by blogging and tweeting about current and influential topics that affect her clients. The insight she uniquely provides is available on her widely-read legal blog – Colorado Employer’s Law.  She can also be followed on Twitter at @employmentlawUS.
