Attorney Bennett started his career as a prosecutor. As an assistant district attorney in a high crime area, he was in the courtroom every day. He tried numerous jury and non-jury cases to verdict and questioned hundreds of witnesses under oath in court proceedings. In addition to his experience as a prosecutor, Attorney Bennett spent seven years practicing at one of Connecticut's largest litigation and trial firms where he was named a Partner. His experience included the handling of cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, business disputes, and commercial litigation.
Attorney Bennett's practice at Aeton includes representation of individuals and businesses in a range of matters such as breach of contract, business disputes, trade and commerce, technology, employment, construction, real estate, trade secrets, and products liability. In addition, he provides general counsel services to individuals and businesses throughout Connecticut related to litigation, technology, human resources and employment, contract, and risk management issues. Further, Attorney Bennett handles matters on a select basis in Massachusetts and other states, including commercial disputes, product liability cases, and personal injury matters.
He is the author of the Connecticut Business Litigation blog, which covers commentary on laws, lawsuits, and legal issues impacting the Connecticut business comnunity.
