William A. Dean is a Board Certified Civil Trial Attorney, certified by the Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Dean is the managing partner of the law firm Ford, Dean & Rotundo P.A., located in Aventura, Florida. As a plaintiff's trial attorney, Mr. Dean represents victims of nursing home and ALF abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, patients who have suffered the development and deterioartion of bed sores, catastrophic accidents and sexual abuse. Over Mr. Dean's career, he has obtained in excess of $100 Million Dollars in settlments and jury verdicts for his clients.
Mr. Dean's successes have earned him several awards and honors. In addition to receiving an AV rating* from his peers, he is also a member of the Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum, awarded to attorneys who have won multimillion dollar verdicts on behalf of their clients. Mr. Dean has been selected for inclusion in the 2009 Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars and has been a member of Florida Super Lawyers from 2010 to present. Florida Trend magazine selected him as one of the Florida Legal Elite in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015 and he was selected as a Top Lawyers in the South Florida Legal Guide from 2013 to present. Mr. Dean was also admitted into the Daily Busineiss Review 2014 Florida Verdicts Hall of Fame. Mr. Dean lectures nationally on nursing home litigation topics.
Mr. Dean graduated from New York Law School with honors after completing undergraduate studies in History at Union College in Schenectady, New York. Mr. Dean is admitted to practice before the State of Florida, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New York, the State of Georgia, and the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of the U.S. District Court of Florida and the United States Supreme Court.
