Additionally, she is an umpire, special master and trained mediator proficient at finding effective solutions in matters such as the following: health care, antitrust law, commercial disputes, employment and labor matters, class-action lawsuits, insurance, zoning and personal injury. Ms. Perry has also litigated claims concerning professional malpractice.

In 1980, Ms. Perry graduated with honors and received a Bachelor of Arts in politics from Brandeis University. She then earned a Juris Doctor and graduated cum laude in 1984 from the University of Miami School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Perry received the American Jurisprudence Award for earning the highest grade in her labor law class.

During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Perry actually mediated her first issue. She negotiated an agreement with the school that it would not in invest in businesses that worked with South African companies unless those companies committed to treat black employees fairly.

Now, with more than three decades of experience, Ms. Perry has received a number of accolades for her work. She has earned the highest peer rating possible of AV Preeminent* from Martindale-Hubbell; she holds an Avvo “Superb” rating; and she has been listed in Florida Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite.

Ms. Perry is active with or has served in leadership positions with organizations such as the Dade County Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The Spellman-Hoeveler American Inn of Court and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Miami Chapter.
