Daniel Aaronson is an experienced criminal defense attorney with a wide range of focus. One of the founding partners of Benjamin & Aaronson, P.A., Attorneys at Law, Mr. Aaronson is passionate about defending those accused of crimes, those whose First Amendment rights have been violated and those in the adult entertainment industry. Mr. Aaronson works hard to ensure that each client receives every benefit to which he or she is legally entitled.
Mr. Aaronson has a record of accomplishment that includes his licensure to practice law in the states of Georgia, New Jersey and Florida. He served as a public defender for Miami/Dade County from 1981 through 1984, and since then has personally worked with clients as far away as Texas and Pennsylvania. Mr. Aaronson is a member of the Broward County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the First Amendment Lawyers Association.
Mr. Aaronson has been a key component in changing the laws in the area of adult entertainment in South Florida, including cases such as State v. Kessler and Silvers and Hall v. State, which addressed lewdness and the constitutional boundaries thereof. Mr. Aaronson is also recognized for winning the case of Daytona Grand v. City of Daytona Beach, which was completed under the Alameda Books test.
Mr. Aaronson has no fear of complex cases, whether involving felony drug or theft charges, murder, or even adult entertainment-related issues.
