As founder of Roy J. Kahn, P.A., Mr. Kahn is dedicated to representing people in Miami and the surrounding areas in Florida. He focuses his practice on handling criminal defense cases that involve drug charges, white collar and federal crimes, as well as fraud and mortgage fraud.
In 1972, Mr. Kahn received a Bachelor of Science from Boston University. He went on to earn a Juris Doctor in 1976 from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a member of The Society of Bar and Gavel.
Certified in criminal trial litigation by The Florida Bar’s Board of Legal Specialization and Education, Mr. Kahn is a skilled litigator committed to obtaining the best possible results for his clients. Having experience as a prosecutor, he understands how the criminal justice system works on both sides of the courtroom. Using that knowledge, he strives to build a convincing case in support of his clients’ defense.
A steadfast advocate for his clients, Mr. Kahn takes the time to explain all the available options. He is adept at negotiating with the prosecution when possible, and he will go to battle in the court to protect his clients’ rights when necessary. Throughout his career, Mr. Kahn has time and again secured dismissals and reduced sentences.
