James L. Magazine is a partner at Lucas, Green & Magazine, located in New Port Richey, Florida. Focusing his practice on personal injury litigation, he represents clients in Pasco, Hernando and Pinellas counties who have been harmed by the negligent acts or omissions of others in cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, wrongful death and insurance bad faith. Mr. Magazine has received board certification as a civil trial law attorney from The Florida Bar and the National Board of Trial advocacy. Mr. Magazine is member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Distinguished Counsel.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts from Baldwin Wallace College in 1986, Mr. Magazine went on to attend Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1989. Admitted to practice in Florida, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Magazine was in private practice before joining Lucas, Green & Magazine as a partner in 2006.
In order to keep abreast of current developments in his field, Mr. Magazine is an active participant in several professional organizations, including the Clearwater, St. Petersburg and West Pasco bar associations. Due to his success in obtaining many large verdicts and settlements for his clients, he is also an invited member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. As an avid baseball fan and Ohio native, Mr. Magazine enjoys following the Cleveland Indians. During his four years at Baldwin Wallace College, he was a key member of the school's baseball team and had one of the highest batting averages among all collegiate players nationwide for the 1984 season.
