A former felony prosecutor and division chief, attorney Mark M. O'Mara has handled all types of criminal cases, including traffic, property crimes, DUI, drug cases and death penalty cases. Mr. O'Mara has been practicing criminal and family law for more than 34 years. He is presently board certified as a Criminal Trial Specialist and a Marital and Family Law Specialist. Mark also focuses his practice on those who have had their civils rights violated, often at the hands of government officials.

Mr. O'Mara is admitted to practice in the state of Florida, as well as before the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit. He currently serves as a legal analyst for CNN, where he provides his thoughts and expertise on justice and social issues.
