A partner at Schutz & White LLP, John F. Schutz guides families in Palm Beach County, Florida, through some of the most trying experiences of their lives. For over 20 years, he has focused his practice exclusively on family law, generally handling cases that involve issues such as divorce, the division of marital property, spousal support, child custody and support, child relocation, paternity, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
In 1991, Mr. Schutz earned a Bachelor of Science in political science from Florida State University. He went on to graduate from the Stetson University College of Law with a Juris Doctor in 1995.
Recognizing the sensitive nature of family law matters, Mr. Schutz handles each case and each client with compassion and confidentiality. He works to ensure those he represents are prepared to make informed decisions that could affect the outcome of their case, as well as their life for years to come. Mr. Schutz is certified as a family trial advocate through the National Board of Trial Advocacy, board-certified in marital and family law by The Florida Bar, and is recognized as a collaborative divorce practitioner by the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. Staying active in the legal community is a priority for Mr. Schutz. He is a member of The Family Law Section of The Florida Bar, the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. Additionally, he is a master in The First Family Law American Inn of Court and is a fellow in the International Academy of Family Lawyers.
