When Gregory B. McMenamy Jr. started McMenamy Law, he envisioned a practice that helped clients who were dealing with catastrophic injuries due to no fault of their own. From his firm’s office in Atlanta, Georgia, he serves clients in Decatur, Clarkston, Roswell, Scottdale, Avondale Estates, Tucker, Smyrna, Dekalb County and Fulton County. He fights for the best interests of clients in cases related to:
- Trucks, all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and auto accidents
- Premises liability
- Wrongful death
- Products liability
- Catastrophic injuries
- Recreational vehicle accidents
- Toxic torts and burn injuries
A 1984 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. McMenamy completed his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1989. While there, he was part of the editorial board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and a member of the National Mock Trial Team.
Admitted to practice in Georgia for more than three decades, Mr. McMenamy has served as a judicial law clerk for Hon. Judge John A. Terry in the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, and is a graduate of the Trial Lawyers College.
Having successfully handled hundreds of sophisticated cases, Mr. McMenamy is AV Preeminent peer-review rated,* the highest rating, through Martindale-Hubbell. He has also been named on The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 list as well as the Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite list.

He actively volunteers to provide pro bono services. He is a board member of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and often participates in some of its fundraising activities.
