A personal injury trial lawyer since 1993, Marc began his career representing airlines, airports, and trucking companies. Since 2001, Marc has represented those who have been harmed by the wrongful conduct of others, focusing on catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Marc's cases have included truck wrecks, airplane crashes, medical malpractice, criminal attacks on premises, and nursing home abuse cases.
Marc and his law partner Geoff Pope have tried cases throughout Georgia and the southeast. Their verdicts have been included in Top Verdicts magazine, and they have regularly been named as Super Lawyers. In 2017, Marc was listed as a Super Lawyer Top 100.
Marc has served on the executive committee of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, as president of the Sandy Springs Bar Association, and has been elected to the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Georgia. Marc regularly speaks at legal seminars and is listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and was named a Legal Elite by Georgia Trend magazine and as a Lawyer of Distinction by Jezebel Magazine. Marc also has been a regular volunteer through the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, taking pro bono cases for clients who are unable to afford a lawyer.
Marc lives in Sandy Springs, Georgia and is on the vestry of Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Sandy Springs.
