The Platt Law Firm was established in 2008 and has demonstrated a strong history of success in meeting the legal needs of individuals and families. We have developed a reputation as specialists in family law matters.
At The Platt Law Firm, we always put our clients first. Family really does matter here, and we understand the challenges our clients face. Reaching the decision to end a marriage is enormously difficult. Suffering with your child when difficulties arise with an IEP can impact every aspect of your life. We recognize that this may be one of the most challenging experiences you will ever face, and our law firm is here to help you navigate the legal system.
Our firm’s attorneys are known and respected for their success in legal work in the areas of family law and special education matters. Rachel Platt was recently recognized as a 2014 Super Lawyer by the Atlanta Magazine. She has held numerous leadership positions for several organizations throughout Atlanta, such as the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) and the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. Ms. Platt continually presents lectures and is a featured speaker at Continuing Education Courses for other Georgia attorneys in the area of family law and special education. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia and the Colorado School of Law.
