His other notable cases include a $5.3 million jury verdict in a nursing home negligence case, a $3.4 million recovery in a DUI/dram shop case, and a $1.25 million jury verdict in a nursing home negligence case that ranks as one of the highest nursing home verdicts to be affirmed on appeal in the state of Georgia.

In addition to holding numerous high-profile appointments and memberships, Mr. Land has received multiple honors. The Supreme Court of Georgia appointed him as a special master for state bar disciplinary proceedings, and he has served as a member of the Local Rules Advisory Committee of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia as well as president of the Chattahoochee Bar Association.
