An attorney at O’Dell & O’Neal Attorneys, Justin O’Dell is committed to representing clients in Cobb County, Georgia. He focuses his practice on cases involving the following matters: family law, real estate law, shareholder and investor dispute resolution, probate, election professional negligence and malpractice, construction, personal injury and corporate employment issues.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Furman University in 1999, Mr. O’Dell went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2002, graduating cum laude.
Mr. O’Dell has more than 11 years of experience representing a variety of clients in divorce cases. He has also represented corporations, residential and commercial property owners, homeowners, contractors and developers, dissatisfied investors and personal injury victims, among others.
In family law cases, Mr. O’Dell has sought uncontested divorces, navigated cases in which marital infidelity was an issue and represented spouses who required alimony and child support. He has also addressed sensitive situations involving custody and visitation.
Mr. O’Dell successfully handled the past three election disputes in Cobb County. He argued for the result of a mayoral election to be overturned; he defended a challenge to the candidacy of a city council member; and he obtained a new election in another matter.
Active in the local community, Mr. O’Dell has been recognized for his service with numerous awards, including the Justice Robert Benham Award for Community Service from the State Bar of Georgia. He has also served on the boards of directors for Cobb Community Collaborative, Cobb Housing, Inc. and Reconnecting Families, Inc.
