Kenneth J. Ashman is the founder of Ashman Law Offices, LLC, located in Chicago, Illinois. The firm also maintains offices in New York City and Lincolnshire, Illinois. Mr. Ashman's primary focus is business litigation, but he also assists clients with corporate formation and business startups, transactional matters, and partnership and shareholder disputes. Prior to starting his firm in 2001, he worked as an associate at two major law firms in New York City and then as a named partner at his present firm's predecessor.

Mr. Ashman is admitted to practice in Illinois and New York and before the U. S. Circuit Courts of Appeals for the 2nd and 7th Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court. He also licensed to practice before the U. S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the District of Hawaii and the Northern District of Illinois.

Because he is dedicated to the professional legal community, Mr. Ashman serves in a leadership capacity in the American Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association, and he maintains memberships in the Decalogue Society of Lawyers, the Chicago Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association. A published author with nearly two dozen articles and papers to his credit, he writes a monthly column for the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin. Mr. Ashman received his bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in 1983 and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the Boston University School of Law in 1990 after previously attending the New York University School of Law. He and his wife, Laura, have four children.
