Patrick A. Salvi is the founder and managing partner of Salvi Schostok & Pritchard P.C., with offices in Chicago and Waukegan, Illinois. He focuses his practice primarily on personal injury cases, representing plaintiffs in the Chicago metropolitan area and throughout the state of Illinois and helping them seek compensation in cases involving serious personal injuries, medical malpractice and wrongful death. Mr. Salvi has achieved many record breaking jury verdicts and settlements on behalf of his clients including a record high $33 million jury verdict.
Mr. Salvi earned his Bachelor of Arts cum laude from St. Mary's University of Minnesota in 1975, after which he went on to attend University of Notre Dame Law School. He was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1978, and he now serves as an adjunct professor and chair of the Law School Advisory Council at the school. In 1999, Saint Mary's University of Minnesota presented Mr. Salvi with an honorary Doctor of Laws in recognition of his accomplishments. Admitted to practice in Illinois, Wisconsin and Florida, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit.
A peer-review process has allowed Mr. Salvi to garner an AV Preeminent* rating through Martindale-Hubbell, and he has also been named in Best Lawyers in America.** He once served as president and in many other roles for the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, and the Illinois Supreme Court appointed him a committee member for state law regarding jury instructions for civil matters. Mr. Salvi continues his active participation in several other professional organizations, including the American and Chicago bar associations, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and The Society of Trial Lawyers.
