Details

Chicago attorney Robert R. Duncan founded Duncan Law Group in 2010 with the goal of protecting the rights of victims of negligence in Illinois and throughout the Midwest. Today, ten years after his firm's establishment, he has a reputation as a dedicated client advocate who works diligently to help his clients pursue compensation in both state and federal courts in the aftermath of the following:

• Bicycle, bus, motorcycle, airplane and pedestrian accidents
• Motor vehicle accidents of all types, including rear-end accidents, rollover accidents and those caused by distracted or drunk drivers
• Catastrophic injuries
• Construction accidents
• Defective products
• Dog bites and animal attacks
• Injuries to children, including birth injuries
• Medical malpractice, including nursing home abuse and negligence
• Mesothelioma and asbestos-related injuries
• Premises liability

In addition to handling personal injury and medical malpractice cases, Mr. Duncan regularly pursues consumer and insurance-based class action cases.

Mr. Duncan began his career in 2002 after earning his law degree from University of Illinois College of Law and his approval to practice law in the state of Illinois. In addition, a number of U.S. District Courts in the Midwest, the U.S. Federal Claims Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit have all issued approvals for him to practice in their courtrooms.

Over the course of Mr. Duncan's nearly 20-year legal career, he has earned a number of honors thanks to his dedication to justice. He holds a "Superb" rating from Avvo, and The National Trial Lawyers has included him on its list of the Top 40 under 40 for three years in a row. In addition, American Registry listed him among the Top Lawyers for 2012.

In addition to Mr. Duncan's efforts on his clients' behalves, he is also an active member of the legal community, a regular guest speaker and a respected author on legal topics.
