Sandra is the principal of Law Crawford, P.C. (Chicago). Law Crawford offers services in the Collaborative Law, Mediation and Limited Scope Representation models of dispute resolution and helps families and individuals move out of conflict and into future-focused and sustainable resolutions. Sandra has been practicing law for over 25 years. She has been a trained mediator since 1994 and a trained Collaborative Practice Professional since 2001. Sandra is a Fellow of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois (CLII) and held the position of CLII President from 2009-2010. She received her B.A. in Political Science from DePaul University ('84) and her J.D. from John Marshall Law School ('89). She was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in 2005. Sandra is also an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) and was a two-term ISBA Assembly member. She currently sits on the ISBA's Delivery of Legal Services Committee, where she holds the position of Secretary, and on its Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Counsel and its Judicial Evaluation Committee (Cook County). She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Bar Foundation and chairs the IBF's Lawyers Care Fund Committee. In 2010 Sandra, together with other interdisciplinary professionals, founded the Trainers for the Advancement of Collaborative Practice, Inc. (TACP) - a company which provides basic skills trainings to legal, mental health and financial professionals seeking to add the Collaborative Practice model to the services they offer. She is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP), where she sits on the Trainer Development Committee. Sandra was first selected as an Illinois Super Lawyer in 2010.
