Dorothy O'Brien helps people struggling with workplace injustice. She has successfully represented many employees who have wrongfully been denied overtime, unfairly terminated, harassed on the job and suffered discrimination. Her cases have included sex harassment, wrongful termination and unpaid wages. Dorothy also assists people by reviewing severance packages and the circumstances of their termination from employment.
In 2013 Dorothy won a large verdict for unpaid wages in favor of hundreds of KBR construction and maintenance employees working at the ADM plant in Clinton, Iowa. In 2012 Dorothy and her son Brent Pelton won a major verdict for unpaid overtime against a New York employer. She has obtained recoveries in other overtime cases against major employers.
Another special interest of Dorothy is representing women who have suffered from unequal pay.
