As the founder of the Irpino Law Firm, Anthony Irpino provides dedicated legal representation to clients in New Orleans and throughout the state of Louisiana. He focuses his practice on representing plaintiffs in complex liability matters, generally handling cases that involve such issues as nursing home neglect, wrongful death, the Jones Act and maritime law. Mr. Irpino also accepts cases involving class actions and mass joinder proceedings.
Before earning a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, Mr. Irpino attended the University of Illinois. From there, he received a Bachelor of Arts.
Mr. Irpino understands the effects that devastating accidents can have on victims and their families. For nearly 20 years, he has committed himself to advocating on behalf of those who have been severely injured due to the negligence of others. Over the course of his career, Mr. Irpino has secured settlements for his clients totaling more than $350 million. His notable successes include serving as class counsel in a New Orleans train car leak and fire litigation case, for which he helped obtain a $3.35 billion judgment on behalf of his clients.
Beyond his work in the courtroom, Mr. Irpino is an active member of the legal community. He is a member of the Louisiana Association for Justice, the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
Serving the community is a priority for Mr. Irpino. He is involved with Project H.E.L.P. and Ozanam Inn, a place that provides services to New Orleans' homeless. Mr. Irpino also regularly volunteers his guidance and legal services to the disabled, homeless and elderly through The Harry Thompson Center.
