Soilson specializes in large-asset divorce and high-conflict custody cases. Mr. Soilson brings more than 19 years of experience to his cases. Whether litigating a child custody battle and issues over alimony, or mediating a divorce and allocating child-related college expenses, Mr. Soilson is committed to helping people resolve their family matters in a cost-effective, child-centric and dignified manner.

For example, he was a member of the Keynote Alimony Panel at the 19th Annual MCLE Family Law Conference in Boston, he is the Co-Editor of "Financial Aspects of Divorce" (MCLE, Inc., 2016), and the Co-author of the Prenuptial Agreements chapter of the "Massachusetts Divorce Law Practice Manual" (MCLE, Inc.; 2008).
Volunteering and providing leadership in organizations that are dedicated to making divorce and separation easier on children, he is on the Boards of Directors of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts ("AFCC") and Overcoming Barriers. Mr. Soilson is a Founding Member of the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators, and a member of the Academy of Professional Family Mediators, the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, the Massachusetts Association of Guardians ad Litem, and the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Family Law section. Mr. Soilson also regularly provides pro bono services to several organizations.
Jeffrey A. Soilson is a graduate of Columbia University, (B.A., 1994), and Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, (J.D., 1997). During law school, Mr. Soilson clerked for the Israeli Supreme Court and advised the Israeli Justices on family law issues adjudicated in the United States. Mr. Soilson served in the United States Navy and through a selective Naval Intelligence program received a Russian Certificate from the Defense Language Institute in 1989. He is conversational in Russian and Hebrew.
