Upon founding Daniel J. Larin, P.C., Mr. Larin made a commitment to defend clients against drunk driving and other DUI charges. He works with people in the Detroit area, as well as those in Bloomfield Hills, West Bloomfield, Birmingham, Royal Oak, Grosse Pointe, Warren, Troy, Farmington Hills, Waterford, Berkley, Clarkston, Oak Park, Southfield, Novi, Northville, Rochester, Auburn Hills and Pontiac, Michigan. Well-versed in the state's laws, Mr. Larin knows how to dismantle the prosecution's argument.
Having represented hundreds of clients, Mr. Larin has seen a range of issues, including cases that involve first offenses, serious injuries and even death. He began his career as a prosecutor, which gives him insight into how that side of the courtroom operates. Mr. Larin brings that knowledge to his practice today, where he has the ability to thoroughly analyze evidence and build a defense to help minimize or eliminate charges.
Due to his success, Mr. Larin has earned the honor of having been named one of DBusiness magazine's Top Lawyers in Metro Detroit; he holds an Avvo "Superb" rating; and he has been listed in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100.
In 1988, Mr. Larin received a Bachelor of Science from Michigan State University, after which he worked as an environmental scientist, an observer for the National Marine Fisheries Service and an air quality specialist. He then shifted his focus to law, earning a Juris Doctor from the Washburn University School of Law in 1998.
Today, Mr. Larin enjoys working with peers through legal organizations such as The National College for DUI Defense, Inc., the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association. A published author, he is also a frequent guest lecture on topics surrounding DUI defense.
