Ryan M. Kelly, a partner in the firm, focuses her practice on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody and support issues, paternity, parenting time disputes, and spousal support modifications. In particular she handles high-conflict family law matters for professionals, including matters with difficult personalities, mental health, substance abuse and special needs children. Ms. Kelly is active in several organizations, including serving as a past president for the Women's Bar Association of Oakland County and Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. She is also a member of the Wayne County Family Law Bar Association and Northville’s Main Street League.
Ms. Kelly has been a speaker at ICLE's Family Law Institute on several occasions and in 2012 received a certificate of completion from the Family Law Certificate Program. Topics of her presentations have included Divorce Practice and Procedure, Divorce Checklists, Ex Parte and Interim Orders, Prenuptial Agreements and Vocational Experts.
Her achievements have been noted by "Super Lawyers Magazine" in naming her as a Michigan Rising Star ten times (2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020) and in 2014, 2019 and 2020 she was named as one of the Top Lawyers in Michigan for the area of family law by "dBusiness" magazine. Ms. Kelly has also been named a Michigan Top Lawyer in family law for 2015, and a Top 10 Under 40 in the area of family law by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys.
