Robert N. Edwards is the founder of his own law firm, the Law Offices of Robert N. Edwards, located in Anoka, Minnesota, and serving clients in Anoka County, Coon Rapids, Blaine, Andover and Ramsey. He focuses his practice primarily on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, representing those who have been harmed due to the negligence of others in matters involving motor vehicle accidents, dog bites, dangerous or defective products, slip-and-fall accidents, construction site accidents, motorcycle accidents and no-fault claims.
After earning his Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and then his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1978, Mr. Edwards became licensed to practice law in Minnesota. He also became licensed to practice in Arizona in 2001. Mr. Edwards earned his certification as a specialist in civil trial law from the Minnesota State Bar Association Board of Certified Specialists and is also certified as a specialist in civil trial law by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification.
Mr. Edwards has written several articles for Minnesota Trial Lawyers Magazine, including one on ATV litigation and an article entitled "Tort Actions Arising Out of Marriage". He has also been a speaker at a number of events, including the Discovery Seminar in 2004 and The Truth About Adverse Medical Examiners Seminar in 2005.
In order to stay abreast of current developments in his field and to forge relationships with his fellow attorneys, Mr. Edwards is an active member of the Arizona Association for Justice and is a member of the board of governors of the Minnesota Association for Justice, also earning its annual Excellence Award. He has also received a "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo.
