John Michael Jerabek is a partner at the law firm of Tuft, Lach, Jerabek & O'Connell, PLLC. He received his JD from William Mitchell College of Law and a BS in Government from St. John's University in Collegeville. He has devoted his legal practice to issues involving children and families in the areas of family law, juvenile law, adoption law, and appellate advocacy. Jerabek has been selected to the Top 25 Super Lawyers Appellate Law list and the Top 40 Super Lawyers Family Law list. Jerabek has authored numerous articles on issues involving advocacy of the best interests of children, remedies for interference with parenting rights, modification of custody and parenting time, interstate and intrastate requests of parties to move with children, and de facto and interested third-party custody disputes. He has been a frequent teacher and lecturer on children's advocacy issues both locally and nationally. Jerabek is an active member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the National Association of Counsel for Children. He also volunteers as a mentor for children and as a youth soccer coach.
