Thomas Tuft is a partner in Tuft, Lach, Jerabek, & O'Connell, PLLC, practicing primarily in family law litigation and alternative dispute resolution including divorce, child support, and child custody with an emphasis on complex divorce, interstate, and international child custody cases. He has been on the Super Lawyers list since 2002; has been named one of the Top 40 Family Law Attorneys in Minnesota for the past six years; and has been on the Top 100 Super Lawyers since 2006. He is a member of the ABA, MSBA, RCBA, and is a fellow, board member, and Past President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers -- Minnesota Chapter. He is currently on the Fourth District County Family Court Enhancement Project (domestic violence), the Tenth District ENE Committee, the Second District ENE Committee, the Second District High Conflict Families Initiative, and the Child-Focused Parenting Time Group. He is a former chair of the Second District Ethics Committee. He writes and speaks on legal ethics, the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act, and the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction.
