Eric Bruce Nelson takes a personal approach when it comes to helping victims of accidents and workplace injuries from his Minneapolis, Minnesota, firm Fay & Associates LLC. Able to help clients in both English and in German, he serves individuals from throughout the state and helps them to determine whether an alternative to litigation would be suitable in each unique case. Mr. Nelson is a practitioner of personal injury law and workers’ compensation law, helping his clients to receive the compensation they deserve for injuries.
Mr. Nelson holds an undergraduate degree in both international relations and German from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He studied law at what was then known as the William Mitchell College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor. He is licensed to practice before courts throughout the state and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Able to represent his clients in negotiating for their best interests, Mr. Nelson has a certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution gained through the Minnesota State Board of Continuing Legal Education. However, when alternative methods are not ideal, he is fully prepared to take cases to trial, with more than half of his practice dedicated to representing clients in litigation. Always striving to stay up-to-date on current developments within his field of practice, Mr. Nelson has maintained membership in the Minnesota State Bar Association since 2008, allowing him to form professional relationships with fellow attorneys. A believer in giving back to the community, Mr. Nelson has served as a pro bono volunteer for The First Tee.
