Minnesota attorney Garth J. Unke is a senior partner at the law firm of Stich, Angell, Kreidler, Dodge & Unke, P.A. Representing clients in Minneapolis, the Twin Cities metropolitan area and all outstate venues in Minnesota. Mr. Unke handles construction litigation and personal injury cases involving wrongful death and catastrophic injury. He has represents clients in cases involving insurance coverage disputes and employment litigation.
Mr. Unke graduated from Winona State University in 1982 and went on to earn his law degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago three years later. He has practiced in Illionois since 1985 and Minnesota since 1988.
Certified as a specialist in civil trial law by the Minnesota State Board of Legal Certification, Mr. Unke has handled numerous complex trials in the states of Minnesota and Illinois. Throughout his three decades of practice, he has successfully defended many clients in complex injury, sex abuse, construction and personal injury matters.
In addition to his courtroom experience, Mr. Unke also has a great deal of experience in alternative dispute resolution methods such as arbitration and mediation. He has served as a mediator on over 150 cases. He has successfully defended clients through arbitration and frequently serves as an arbitrator himself through the American Arbitration Association. He is listed as a qualified neutral mediator through the Minnesota Judicial Branch's alternative dispute resolution system.
Mr. Unke belongs to the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, the Hennepin County Bar Association and the Minnesota State Bar Association.
