As founder of Lamey Law Firm P.A., John D. Lamey III is committed to representing clients in Oakdale and the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, as well as those in western Wisconsin. He focuses his practice on business and consumer bankruptcy,* handling cases that involve foreclosure, Chapter 11, Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and repossession. Mr. Lamey also assists clients with general business and corporate law matters.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of San Diego, Mr. Lamey went onto receive a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 2001, graduating cum laude.

Whether he is helping a struggling business or an individual mired in bills, Mr. Lamey works closely with clients on every aspect of their case. Active in the legal community, Mr. Lamey holds memberships with the Minnesota State Bar Association's Bankruptcy Law Section and the American Bar Association. He is the current Chair of the MSBA Bankrutpcy Law Section. A published author, he serves as editor-in-chief of the publication of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Bankruptcy Law Section.
When he isn't assisting clients with financial matters, Mr. Lamey enjoys volunteering his time with Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, and spending time with his wife and three children.
