In 1982, Mr. VanCanagan received a Master of Laws in federal taxation from the Boston University School of Law.
Admitted to practice throughout Montana and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana in 1981, Mr. VanCanagan has subsequently been admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit.
