A criminal defense attorney at his own firm in Las Vegas, Nevada, Ross C. Goodman is dedicated to serving clients throughout the state. He provides representation to those who have been charged with misdemeanors or felonies, including driving under the influence, domestic violence, theft, sex crimes, drug possession or distribution, and dishonored casino markers.
Mr. Goodman received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of San Diego in 1992. He then completed Officer Candidate School with the United States Marine Corps after graduation and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1995. He took Marine Corps Basic Officer and Combat Development Command courses in 1996 and became a member of the Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps. Mr. Goodman retired as a major before entering private practice in 2001.
Admitted to practice in Nevada, Oklahoma and the District of Columbia, Mr. Goodman is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Mr. Goodman is an active participant in a variety of legal organizations. Mr. Goodman has also served on the State Bar of Nevada's Clients' Security Fund Committee. He is frequently asked to speak before groups of fellow attorneys on topics related to his practice area.
