Richard N. Tannenbaum has been practicing law for more than 30 years with the last 15 devoted exclusively to high-end matrimonial and family law. He has been peer-review rated AV since 1984 by Martindale-Hubbell. He was named to the Top 10 Family Law Attorneys in New York State by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys. He has been selected as one of Long Island's Top Rated Lawyers of 2014, 2015 and 2016 by ALM Legal Leaders. He has lectured to fellow attorneys on the topic of electronic discovery and the obligation to preserve electronically stored information. As a result of his experience in the field, Mr. Tannenbaum has been appointed a Referee by the courts in several complex matrimonial cases and, to date, continues to serve as Referee to hear and determine all issues of discovery in the case of Etzion v. Etzion, a leading matrimonial case in electronic discovery in New York. Among his many professional associations, he is a member of The New York Family Law American Inn of Court and has previously served as both President and Chairman of the Board of the Great Neck Lawyers Association.
