Andrea Fischer, founding partner of Fischer Legal Group, understands the complexities involved in commercial litigation cases. She works with individuals and business owners in the New York City area and in Tampa, Florida, on legal matters such as whistleblower claims, qui tam issues and fraud related to Medicare, Medicaid and other circumstances.
A seasoned litigator, Ms. Fischer has battled in the courtroom time and again on behalf of those she represents. She is also well-known for her negotiation skills, enabling her to save clients time and money. In either situation, Ms. Fischer deliberately sorts through the details of a case to construct a solid, compelling argument.
The business world is ever evolving, which is why Ms. Fischer makes a point to stay on top of emerging trends and case law. One way she does this is through her memberships in groups such as the New York Women's Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the American Bankruptcy Institute. She also shares her knowledge with accountants, financial advisers and other attorneys through speaking engagements.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, Ms. Fischer received a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.
Today, Ms. Fischer is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
When she is not at her practice, Ms. Fischer enjoys doing pro bono work through organizations such as the Federal Bar Council and the Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund.
