With more than 30 years of experience, Ms. Cardi has a strong background of helping people resolve family matters as well as handling criminal cases involving both white collar and regular crimes. Before going into criminal defense, she served as an assistant attorney general in investor protection and security fraud cases. Her experience and knowledge are often sought by the media during high-profile criminal cases. In addition to speaking to students and the public in general, Ms. Cardi teaches other attorneys as a faculty member with the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.

Committed to her community, Ms. Cardi dedicates her time to several organizations, including HOPe Charity, The Brooklyn Young Mothers’ Collective and Childbirth Connection. She also provides pro bono legal services for groups such as Sanctuary for Families. Ms. Cardi is a member, and serves on committees, of the New York Women’s Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
