Attorney Howard Tanner co-founded the well-known New York City law firm of Tanner & Ortega, L.L.P., in 1998. As the firm's managing partner, he focuses his practice on protecting the rights of individuals facing criminal charges in New York state. In addition to his criminal defense practice, he also represents clients in matters related to labor and administrative law.
Mr. Tanner began his legal career in 1990 after earning his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law and his approval to practice law in the state of New York. The following year, the state of New Jersey issued its approval for him to practice in its courtrooms, and he has represented clients from both states for the past 25 years.
