Attorney Jeffrey M. Haber is the founder of the Law Office of Jeffrey M. Haber in New York, New York. Drawing from several years of business, corporate and civil defense litigation experience, as well as alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration, Mr. Haber represents clients throughout the New York City area.
Mr. Haber earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he graduated magna cum laude, and earned his law degree from the Hofstra University Maurice A. Deane School of Law.
In addition to being admitted to practice in all New York state courts, Mr. Haber is also licensed to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Sixth circuits. He is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Throughout his years in practice, both in a variety of New York City area law firms and his own, Mr. Haber has been involved in many high-profile cases and has served in various roles in both individual and class action lawsuits which have resulted in million and multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements. He has also participated in securities arbitrations.
Mr. Haber has been recognized by several publications during his career. He has been recommended in The Legal 500 in various years, was named a “local litigation star” in Benchmark Plaintiff from 2013 through 2015, and Securities Litigation Report has published two articles he authored. Mr. Haber is also a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Securities Litigation Committee.
